a public thank you for the most personal gift i received in the mail yesterday.

i cannot believe that it was almost 4 years ago when i posted some photos of this amazing porcelain lace by one of my favorite nomad friends. i’ve thought about the pieces quite often actually, about how they were just these things, these simple and gorgeous things, that no matter how or when you looked at them, they were just so breathtakingly beautiful to the point of almost painful, and that i hoped to one day make something that would elicit such a reaction from anyone, even if it were just myself. and as i continue to stare at it while writing this out, it’s even better in person.

i couldn’t ask for anything more as a belated wedding/birthday present. i feel like my home is now complete. thank you, diana.
